I was honored to present at the recent Oregon Fairs Association annual convention. The attendees embodied the conference theme, “Pride in our Past, Faith in our Future.” I was inspired by their curiosity, smart questions and willingness to explore new ways of looking at sponsorship.
My “Sponsorship Adventures” presentation focused on the pressures and opportunities fairs are currently experiencing to increase revenue, remain relevant, grow attendance, and engage sponsors and visitors in new and exciting ways. I spoke about how sponsors can help achieve these goals and shared a few best practices to develop successful programs.
